ACOUSTIC CONFORT
The Acoustic Conditioning is the set of actions to be implemented within an enclosure in order to improve the degree of acoustic comfort within it, improving the sound quality compared to the initial situation in which it was designed. It depends on a number of factors including the type of decorative ceiling, the distribution, the geometry of the room, the decoration and even the number of people or seats that are inside. The proper design of these factors allow us to have a proper reverberation time for the activity we are going to develop, allowing improved intelligibility of speech inside and avoid this effect we know as ‘echo’ that occurs in some locations and prevents that we understand what the person tells us next to us.
We don’t refer only to facilities as a theater, auditorium or cinema, which is obvious should have good acoustics comfort, but also the activities in wich acoustic comfort is necessary to provide improved services such restaurants, cafeterias, classrooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, sports facilities, etc. It’s also required the reduction of noise in workplaces such in the case of factories or activities that exist within noisy machinery and produce levels necessary to minimize by absorption treatment.
