SOUNDPROOFING PLACES
Floating Mass Insulation Systems consist of a combination of different types of elements that form a mass – spring – mass, and are applied to floors, walls and ceilings.
FLOATING MASS FLOOR
The NOISE KONTROL floating floor can be performed in different systems depending on the insulation properties we want (see the section on floating floors) getting complete ground isolation for structural elements, avoiding the transmission of noise by solid way.
FLOATING MASS WALLS
The NOISE KONTROL floating mass walls are built by a mass element elastically attached to walls and supporting walls; inside have a mineral fiber-acoustic material that acts as sound-absorbent. Depending on the level of isolation that we want to get, may also sheets or panels can be installed or multilayer panels with acoustic damping effects, placed on supporting and isolated elements to get a perfect independence avoiding the spread of airborne noise and structural transmission path. The size, weight and characteristics of the elements, as well as elastic anchoring, thickness of the inner chamber, are calculated in each case depending on the noise spectrum to isolate, defined by our Technical Department.
FLOATING MASS ROOF
Similarly, NOISE KONTROL floating roofs are constructed by a mass element suspended from wrought by cushions, designed according to the worst frequency that will determine our Technical and elastically separate from adjacent walls. In the chamber between the wrought and floating ceiling will be install an acoustic mineral fiber panel to reduce the reverberation in the chamber. Depending on the level of isolation that we want to get, may also sheets or panels can be installed or multilayer panels with acoustic damping effects, placed on supporting and isolated elements to get a perfect independence avoiding the spread of airborne noise and structural transmission path.
